01 — Shortcuts

Cut and paste files. In Finder. Finally.

Your Mac never let you cut a file. Now it does. And if you came from Windows, your fingers can stay on Ctrl.

  • ⌘X in Finder, open the destination folder, and ⌘V. The file leaves where it was and lands where you want it.

    CmdX/CmdV
  • Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V, and Ctrl + X working on your Mac. Turn on only the ones that make sense to you.

    CtrlC/CtrlV
  • The Delete key sends selected files to the Trash, no ⌘ needed.

    Delete
  • Shift + Delete removes files permanently and always asks first.

    ShiftDelete
  • In terminal apps, Ctrl + C still interrupts commands. Nothing breaks your flow.

  • ⌥⇧S and pick an area. Arrow, rectangle, text, and highlighter appear right there.

  • Need the whole page? Select an area and scroll. TwinKeyShot stitches it into one image.

Questions

Before your first shortcut.

Will it work on my Mac?

TwinKeyShot supports macOS 13 or later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Do I need to change my usual shortcuts?

No. Keep using your macOS shortcuts and enable the extra options in the TwinKeyShot menu. Terminal applications receive special treatment to preserve commands such as Ctrl + C.

Which permissions does the app use?

Accessibility for shortcuts, Finder Automation for file operations, and Screen Recording for captures. The permissions menu shows the status and opens the relevant setting.

Can I choose my language?

Yes. Language selection is the first screen of the installer, with English selected by default. Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and Italian are also available. You can change it later in the app menu.

Can I use it on more than one Mac?

Each license connects one Mac at a time. Disconnect your old Mac in your account to connect another, or buy additional licenses for US$ 10/year for other Macs on the same account. Licenses are non-transferable. Initial activation requires internet access. Using the app requires a valid license and is limited to the subscription term.

How much does it cost? Can I buy it now?

Your first license is US$ 10/year and each additional license US$ 10/year, renewing automatically each year. App access, updates, and email support are included. Cancel in your account and keep using the app until your paid term ends. Without renewal, paid features become unavailable; your files remain intact. We notify you before renewal.
